New to the Headland Municipal Airport & this area: SURVIVAL FLIGHT INC. Glad they are calling Headland their home.
This year's Fly-In at the Headland Municipal Airport was a great success. The airport was colored with beautiful planes and aircraft in an array of color flown in by pilots, Airport Manager Pete Crews provided a tasty Pilots' Breakfast for them at arrival. Boy Scout Troop 123presented the flag and honored us by saying the Pledge of Allegiance before Mayor Ray Marler addressed the crown. Then more of the fun continued with Friends of Army Aviation took attendees on flights over Headland to see our beautiful city. There was music provided by Ram Radio and food vendors too. It was a beautiful day at the Headland Municipal Airport! We can't wait for next year when the taxiway has been expanded; more space and more fun!
On September 25, 2018, airport and city officials performed the groundbreaking for the new airport taxiways.
